Coach’s boy, very coy, one big kick

You did it all

Soft spoken, invisible, just another brick

You did it all
Coz you were the wall

All this happened to him because he was the wall?

some of it yes. esp if you consider what a wall's used for

He's probably singing Ich bin ein Bangloriner a la JFK ... & down goes another wall ... all the king's horses & all the king's men, couldn't put the coach's pet together again!!!

Amazing when you look back to see...the variety of Dravid's cricketing life is glaring...and the excellence he endeavored for in each role is even more striking.

Kudos to you as well Gaurav,...as is your wont, you continue to be Sehwagish, Tendulkarish, Ganguly Off-side namaha, Laksmanine vervy versatile songwriterish and always on the ball Dravid-ian Wall-like. :)

Get that guitar out I say and YouTube them all for posterity.

Nice one for the Wall - very Dravidian too. It's amazing that his career ups and downs have been second only to debut-mate-Ganguly.

I've been quite obvious that Dravid's one of my dear favorites. I too rate him over Sachin.

Thought he played very well today. Seemed set for a 100, didn't even make 50. That's classic Dravid in a way - will almost never make merry when all seems good yet grind his way to 50s, 80s and 100s in difficult conditions.

Cheers VM!
Even moe convinced, RD's the fittest of the four. Needs to sort the head and score big soon. Looking more chilled than he has in a long while.

Q - that's music to my ears!

I feel he fixes his batting... too much of a coincidence... him playing well when he is captain.
